David Spicer’s approach to teaching comes from his proven practicality, having over 15 years’ experience in permaculture design and education working and teaching with Bill Mollison at the Permaculture Institute Tasmania and Geoff Lawton; managing director of the Permaculture Research Institute Australia at Zaytuna farm.
David’s courses are 30% theory and 70% practical.
Whether you are after traditional or modern fencing, standard or electric, movable or fixed, this course is for you. Learn about your options and what you need for your property. Get hands on experience that will enable you to take control of your own fencing requirements and therefore better manage different stock, tree and wildlife systems.

This workshop series is based at Caroola Farm, a permaculture farm in establishment.

- Setting up a standard fence line
- Setting up an electric run
- Fence patching
- Putting in a strainer and stay
Course Price: $250 for the full weekend course. Be quick for $205 ‘early bird’ price for first 10 students.
Catering: The course will be fully catered with a light lunch, morning and afternoon snacks as well as tea and coffee.
